The words September Shoutout stand out on a white background, against a blurred photo of pumpkins and pinecones.

We admire the amazing organizations that help folks learn about and get into the tech industry—and we think any time is a great time for a little shoutout.

Girls Who Code is a nonprofit whose values—bravery, sisterhood, and activism—drive them to close the gender gap in tech. Their incredible book series featuring young protagonists of color, has been challenged by book-banning groups for promoting diversity in STEM. Help students start the new year by donating directly or buying books.

Last year, you helped us donate books to First Tech Fund, and amazing org that helps students from underserved backgrounds gain access to computers, WiFi, practical skills, and opportunities to succeed. Continue the support directly!

Code2040 is on a mission to create equitable distribution of power in tech. Values like compassionate accountability and distribution of power have cultivated a community of over 6,000 students, company partners, volunteers, and allies. Follow their work and join their mission.
